Eagle’s Nest Tubing

You’re at 10,350 feet. The Gore Range is right there. And you’re about to slide down a 550-foot hill on an inflatable tube.

That’s the whole pitch, and it delivers.

At the Top of the Mountain

Eagle’s Nest Tubing lives up at Adventure Ridge, accessed via the Eagle Bahn Gondola from Lionshead. The ride up is worth it on its own. By the time you step off, you’re already in a different world. The activity is part of Epic Discovery, Vail Mountain’s on-mountain summer playground, but tubing has its own energy.

The Hill

The 550-foot run sends kids and adults down on inflatable tubes, with a height requirement of 54 inches for the main hill. Younger kids have their own option with Marmot Mini Kids Tubing, a shorter hill built for riders under 54 inches. The surface lift handles the uphill. You handle the grinning at the bottom.

Plan Your Visit

Tubing is included in the Adventure Pass, which also covers the Little Eagle Kids Zipline, Bungee Trampoline, Paramount Peak Climbing Wall, and Mini Golf, plus three rides on the Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster. Pick up your pass at the Lionshead Ticket Office. A scenic gondola ticket is required to access the mountain.
